Savannah Cook
Savannah Cook, alumni at MTSU as a Dance Major with a bachelor's degree in science, year 2021. She has danced for 19 years and has taught for six years. Savannah was accepted into and attended Tennessee's Governor School of the arts for dance in 2017. In the summer of 2019 was chosen to go to Moscow, Russia to perform and take classes with one of her dance professors and two of her peers. She has also been a part of the Theatre and Dance company at MTSU since the fall of 2018. Savannah was taught not only by her amazing professors but also choreography from Isadora Duncan by Meg Brooker, Eric Hawkins work by Kathrine Duke, and choreography by Colleen Barnes who is part of multiple positions at the Joffrey ballet in NYC. In 2021 Savannah directed the first fully produced nutcracker in Murfreesboro, TN that was performed with a live orchestra.
